Popular hiking trail beautiful again.
With the help of two Woods Not Waste members and two volunteers, we hauled 1.5 tons of trash out of Missoula’s most popular hiking spot. The bulk of the trash consisted of large items that needed to be hauled uphill including refrigerators, dryers, washers, tires, and old mattresses. Most of this trash had evidently been there for possibly decades. We are happy to see this area cleared and clean again and we hope you are too! Let’s keep it that way!
